Welcome to Amy Tharp for Centennial!
Amy is a dedicated member of the Centennial community who wants to work for you on Centennial’s City Council. She began teaching for Littleton Public Schools 34 years ago at Highland Elementary and also taught at Franklin and Field Elementary. She moved to Centennial in 2006 to continue raising her family in this amazing community. In addition to classroom teaching, Amy worked as an instructional coach for over 15 years, which involved facilitating, leading, mediating and presenting for teachers and administrators.
As a recent retiree she remains invested in her community by substitute teaching at all grade levels, serving on school accountability and educational advisory committees, and volunteering for various community organizations. Amy’s longevity in the community and commitment to maintaining its excellent quality of life make her an ideal candidate for the Centennial City Council.

- Served on district curriculum writing boards and educator effectiveness committees
- Presenter at Colorado State, National and International Technology and Literacy Conferences
