- My sons were at Arapahoe High School during the shooting in 2013 and my stepson attended Columbine High School when the shooting event occurred in 1999. School safety hits close to home.
- I worked with SROs and Therapy dogs to support students at Field Elementary and witnessed first-hand the success of the program.
- I value and support co-responder programs that provide mental health professionals to work alongside Sheriff Deputies.
- I will encourage Dog Walker Watch and Neighborhood Watch programs.
- I will promote traffic calming initiatives to keep our neighborhoods safe and quiet.
